2019On select Saturdays, you won’t need a pass to enjoy the miles and miles of BCRD trails by snowshoe or Nordic ski. Ski Free Days open the trails to the community twice each winter so everyone can enjoy the winter trails all the way from Craters of the Moon to Alturas Lake. Galena Lodge Ski School is also hosting Free Learn to Ski Clinics from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on the hour. These 30-minute lessons include free equipment and are designed for beginning skiers to get a quick introduction to Nordic skiing.
