This compact, 2-bedroom plus Den/3-bath condo will comfortably sleep up to 5 guests. Offering 1300 square feet of living space, the unit has been extensively renovated and refurbished. It is in the perfect location close to River Run lifts and shuttle, and is walking distance to West Ketchum's movie theater, shops and bistros.

This condo offers modern accommodations, flat screen smart TVs, and wireless internet. The ground level has entries at both front and back which lead to the dining/living room and den. The gas fire place adds to warmth and comfort. The dining area accommodates up to 6 guests at table seating, while the adjacent granite kitchen bar offers 3 stools at counter. The kitchen has newer appliances, instant-on hot water dispenser and the expected array of small kitchen appliances. The living room has a 28-inch flat screen TV with cable for viewing from love seat, ottoman or nearby seated dining area. There is a deck off the ground-level den with a rear fenced courtyard offering southwest views. The den has a new queen sofa sleeper, a 43-inch flat screen Smart TV with cable/Blu-ray DVD, and an adjacent bath with shower and a washer and dryer. The unit does not have A/C.

The second level offers two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath. The master suite offers king bed, vaulted ceiling, 28-inch Smart TV with DVD only, no cable, but is WiFi-linked for live streaming. The en-suite bath has a shower and bath tub. Partial mountain views can be enjoyed from this bedroom. The second bedroom also offers mountain views, and has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom (shower only).

Complex Features: Alpine Villa Condominiums are conveniently located near the bike path and are walking distance to the River Run ski lifts on Bald Mountain.. The complex common area offers a coin-operated laundry facility. There is a free shuttle that will transport you to ski lifts on Bald Mountain, downtown Ketchum, and the Sun Valley and Elkhorn Resorts.

My family and I had an excellent vacation stay at this rental property. It was very convenient to the ski resort as well as downtown. We walk to dinner most nights.

The positive is the unit was stocked with everything you may need, it was clean and the location was very close to River Run for skiing. The bad, location is rather claustrophobic main floor felt dark and it was Way smaller than pictures indicated, living room only barely fit 2 people, there was another room in back but we wanted a gathering place. 6 different controls for heat and the master didnt work and the living room stopped. They brought space heaters over which did nothing and there was no room for them. The TV was hard to figure out, you had to leave a light switch on the the other room to use the tv if front room. Directions for the property operation would be helpful.

Place is next to a shuttle pick up that takes you to the base or town. Can also walk to either in 10 minutes. Second floor suites are spacious and in suite bathrooms were very nice. First floor has a small tv room with couch and a separated kitchen/dining room with a comfy chair and kitchen table with 2 benches.

The property was perfect. It was close to the mountain and close to the downtown area. My only recommendation would be to provide the door code in advance so there is not a need to make an extra stop at the property office to check in. It was an unnecessary step. I would recommend, and I would stay there again.

The Condo is in an ideal location, a short 10 min. walk to the base of Bald Mtn. The bedrooms with bath and pull out sofa in den room with a door & with bath is almost like a 3 bedroom. Nice kitchen and counter and comfortable sitting area. It was ideal for myself and my two adult sons. Also enough space for spouses to join.

The condo was clean, up to date and ultra close to the Sun Valley River Run lifts. My only feedback is the front entrance had to no place to hang snow boards or skis, boots or gloves. Hence, making it hard to navigate with hands full around the love seat in the dining room.

The unit was right off the Silver Bus Line which made for very convenient rides to Bald Mt for skiiing. The condo is well kept and supplied with all necessary amenities. The staff was helpful and responsive at check in and allowed us a late check out and a place to store our ski bags since we had a late flight home. My only critique is the layout of the living room. The couch is tiny and faces a very small TV. It's not conducive to lounging with one's family. I would suggest getting a larger couch and resting it against the staircase and installing a large TV on the wall next to the dining table where a large picture of a row boat currently sits. It would really open up the room. Also, substituting a bunk bed for the sofa bed in the adjacent room would make for a better use of space for guests. Thanks!

Comfortable home away from home

Cozy, homey condo that worked perfectly for our vacation in late September/early October. We had 4 adults and an infant staying and it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the two smaller showers had great water pressure although some found them a bit tight. The larger shower in the master wasn’t quite as powerful and had to change to massage setting to fully rinse longer hair. The kitchen was a good size for the size of the condo and was well stocked in terms of kitchenware although the frying pans were a bit sticky. It was great having laundry facilities in the condo - especially having an infant with! The neighborhood was pretty quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We had a fire alarm chirping in the master bedroom over the weekend while we were there and the maintenance person was there within 30 minutes tops to change the battery. Pricing was very reasonable for what was offered and location to town. We would absolutely stay there again!

Loved my time in Ketchum through Alpine Lodging! Property description/pics are spot on and the kitchen had everything needed to make meals at home. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to be near the slopes or use Ketchum as a home base to explore the Sawtooths
