This 2-bedroom plus den/2-bath condo sleeps up to 6 with a sofa sleeper and has 1,300 square feet of living space. This single level residence is located on the second floor and provides south-facing views.

As you enter the unit there is a den with a full sofa sleeper and 27-inch TV with DVD but no cable TV. The guest bedroom is adjacent to the den off of the hall entry and offers two twin beds and a 32-inch flatscreen TV with DVD but no cable TV. A full bath is off the hallway. The kitchen is open with plenty of counter space. There are two bar stools at the breakfast bar, and the dining table seats six comfortably. The living room has a gas log fireplace with a leather couch and chair, 31-inch flatscreen TV with DVD/VCR, wireless internet access, and a CD/MP3 player for your entertainment. The master bedroom offers views from the deck, queen bed, and a 26-inch flat panel TV with DVD/VCR. A full en-suite bath has a double vanity, stone tile floors and a full sized jetted tub. A stacked washer/dryer is located in the hall closet across from the kitchen. This unit has no phone and no AC.

Complex Features: Snowstar condominiums offer deluxe accommodations in a prime location for both winter and summer activities. The Snowstars are conveniently located in West Ketchum just off the bike path, close to the Gondola, and about 2 blocks from the ski lift and the Big Wood River. There is a large outdoor hot tub, a workout facility, and underground parking with elevator access. Downtown Ketchum is approximately six blocks away with dining, art galleries and shopping easily accessible. Snowstar offers the best in accommodations and location. A free shuttle stops about a block away that will transport you to both ski lifts on Bald Mountain, downtown Ketchum, and the Sun Valley and Elkhorn Resorts.

The location is perfect. Short pleasant walk to slopes. Condo could use some updating. Master Bed not very comfortable - sagging in spots. Den pull out couch bed also sags badly. Heat took overnight to reach 65. It was set on 50 when we arrived. Other than that, a pleasant stay.

A very nice place only a few blocks from town. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. The bathrooms were clean and adequate. The master bathroom needs a new shower door as the one there appeared to be broken. A suggestion to add ceiling fans to the bedrooms and living room. This will help keep it cool at night and during the day. The condo also has a small workout room which was great, however they could stand to upgrade the equipment.

Rental was as expected for a holiday week (Xmas to New Years). Parking situation during a busy week was not acceptable--multiple times there were no guest parking spaces while the owner took the reserved space in the garage. Master shower makes a howling noise when in use and the heat would not increase beyond 65 (but gas fireplace and oven running would raise temp while occupied). Otherwise the unit was fine. Nice sq footage and generally good location-easy walk to downtown, but drove to slopes.

Overall a good experience. Good location able to walk to town. Unit was clean and stocked well. One improvement would the beds do need replacing with new firm mattresses - it was like sleeping on marshmallows. Also it was just my wife and I staying there but is shared with another couple - there really isn't enough public room space to adequately enjoy the unit.

We had a great weeklong stay in Ketchum. The condo is close to all of the shops and restaurants, plus the base of Bald Mtn ski area. Since it was summer everything was a short bike ride or walk away. The home is clean and well furnished. Could have used another fan or two as it got a little warm, but otherwise was great! I would definitely recommend it for small families.
