I liked it!

Great layout to the condo- highly accessible to the Sun Valley resort campus, beautiful views. The TVs leave a little to be desired- but that’s not really why you go to Sun Valley 😉
Great Condo

Great location/ dated unit

We have stayed in a number of different Wildflower units over the years and love the location. We were disappointed that the furnishings in this unit are very tired and we would not choose to stay here again. The closets were full of the owners' belongings. Also, the kitchen was not up to par for a rental in this price range. For instance, only two of the four burners on the stove worked. There was door on third bedroom, which meant that there was no privacy for the guest staying in that room. Definitely not worth the price.
Manager Response:
Thank you for staying with Alpine Lodging. This is valuable information we can pass to the owner.
Very poor
Review by Mike M. on September 2021
Renters beware - this unit is not as pictured - overpriced, underwhelming. Based on the limited, online photos and price, we expected a clean, well renovated unit with modern beds, TVs and furniture. Upon arrival, it became clear we were duped by the photos and rented a unit lost in time somewhere between 1974 - 1988. It was so bad, we nicknamed the place Grandma Greta’s!Positives: • Kitchen: renovated and well equipped • Downstairs Bathrooms: clean, more or less functionalNegatives: • Odor: stale, musty throughout, possibly due to old wallpaper and stained carpet and throw rugs • Excessive Clutter and Personal Items everywhere: living room, bar, fireplace mantel, entry way hutch, hall closets, bathroom cabinets and bedroom closets including coats, shoes, extra lamps, broken TVs, shelves of used personal products and toiletries, family keepsakes, etc. • Living Room Furniture: aged and mismatched • TVs: functional but circa 2000 • Mattresses and Pillows: worn out; made sleeping difficult • Upstairs Loft Master bedroom not fit for use • Outdoor Decks: unkept with pine needles, rolled up carpets, collapsed umbrella and old pots with plastic flowersRecommendation: Owners clean out all personal effects and renovate the unit or honestly represent the true state "Grandma Greta’s” Unit 607 in your online photos.
Wildflower 607

The main problem with our stay was that it coincided with the Allen & Co conference. There were many restrictions on where we could go and what we could do. Many walkways we’re closed off making it difficult to get around. The main pool was closed for almost 2 days tho they said it would only be 1. There was very little communication on how this conference would affect our stay. It’s simply unfair to place those restrictions on the guests who have spent hard earned dollars for a family trip to accommodate the wealthy elite. It could have been done with less restrictions. While we will definitely return, we will avoid this time in the future. My advice to the owners... renegotiate the pool pass policy. 5 passes per unit, whether a 2 person condo or 10 makes no sense. That said, the location was great and we hope to return next year.
Manager Response:
Yes it would be best to avoid this date range in the future as this is when Allen & Co usually comes to town. If you are not staying in the Sun Valley Village it is no big deal, but staying in Sun Valley there are restrictions on many things. We have talked to owners of Sun Valley property to say something about the limit of amenities passes no matter what size of condo. It does not make any sense. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
Family Vacation - June 2021
Review by Dan Y. on July 2021
My family stayed at Wildflower 607 for 6 nights this past June. It was our first experience in Sun Valley and overall we had a fantastic experience. The location of this condo truly cannot be beat. It's literally steps away from the village, pool, tennis, etc. and the town of Ketchum is about a 10 minute bike ride away. Our only complaints is that the condo is a bit dated. A few of the locks on the screen doors were completely broken. There were broken slats from the shutters in both of the bedrooms. Also be aware that there is no AC and it gets very warm in the summer. All that said I would recommend this condo based on location alone.
Tired old unit
Review by Shelley B. on March 2021
While we loved being in the Wildflower condos, and have stayed there before, one of my pet peeves is coming into a rental unit and being confronted with the owner's "stuff" in every closet, drawer, nook and cranny. There was a baby crib in the middle of one of the bedrooms. An old unworkable TV behind the regular(small) TV in the living room. Difficult to find places to hang clothes with all the owner's old things in the closets. This unit definitely needs a facelift and attention to detail that is lacking. Staying here was not a good guest experience and is something that the management company should have standards for when they are renting units.
Manager Response:
We really appreciate this information and will make sure the owner's remove their clothes for future stays.

Wonderfully designed space, clean and not a lot of owner's stuff in the closets, always a bonus!
Great location and space
Review by Becky on March 2021
We loved the location and space. It was clean and well stocked with anything you needed. The only thing to relay is that the faucets were loose on most sinks, but it didn’t bother us.
Manager Response:
Thank you for staying with Alpine Lodging. We appreciate your feedback and have had maintenance check on the faucets.

This place was great! Awesome communication and very convenient. Would definitely stay again.
Nice but could use some small fixes
Review by Donna on December 2020
Condo was very well stocked with kitchenware. Beds were comfortable and lots of extra pillows and blankets. It could use a little bit of updating in the two bedrooms with the extreme wallpaper. The wooden window shutters should be replaced a lot of them were broken. All in all, we would stay there again.
Sun Valley is a dream

The location is ideal. The condo and building are clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The condo has a bit of delayed maintenance and updates that really need to be taken care of, first project should be getting the plantation shutters repaired. Over half of the shutters were broken and non functional.
