The Sun Valley Music Festival celebrates its 40th Anniversary this summer! This is arguably the best free-admission concert in the entire country. Combined with its year-round education programs, this has given it an elite reputation among all music programs worldwide for 40 years. Led by Music Director Alasdair Neale, the Sun Valley Music Festival just keeps getting better and better every year.
Previous years’ lineup has included Lang Lang, James Ehnes, Jamie Barton, and Angela Meade. The Sun Valley Music Festival is nationally renowned for being one of the best free-admission symphonies in the world, so I would normally say “Buy you’re tickets today,” but you don’t have to! All the concerts are free except the special Gala performance. All events are at the Sun Valley Pavilion, unless otherwise noted.
