Head to Sun Valley Resort on Christmas Eve for a Winter Wonderland Ice Show and Dollar Torchlight Parade! This is a Sun Valley tradition and an event not to be missed. Enjoy hot cocoa and cookies as you watch the free Winter Wonderland Ice Show highlighting modern renditions of classic holiday music. Santa Clause and the Sun Valley Carolers start the show featuring performances by Frank Sweiding and Anita Hartshorn, Ashley Clarke, other visiting professional skaters and the Sun Valley Figure Skating Club.
After the ice show stick around to visit with Santa and look toward Dollar Mountain to see the parade of skiers with torches making their way down as fireworks light up the sky above. As the evening winds down, you’ll be heading home to await Santa’s arrival.
Ice show seating begins at 3pm, the ice show starts at 5:30, with Torchlight Parade immediately following.
