Organized by the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, The Baldy Hill Climb is an annual Sun Valley Tradition bringing together hundreds of athletes to compete for the title of King or Queen of the Hill by racing to the top of Warm Springs in a 3140 ft vertical climb in 1.86 miles.
The event starts off with the Kinderclimb for the kiddos 11 and younger competing on a 300 vertical feet course. Next is the Baldy Hiking Climb for individuals not competing so they will be at the top of the mountain to see the action. Competitors then race to the top in the Baldy Racing Climb or bike up in the Baldy Mountain Bike Hill Climb, or really push themselves and do both races in the event called The Cheeso Double!
All participants receive a T-shirt, access to the aid station, lift service down the mountain and entry to the awards party.
Pre-registration is required. More information and to register click here.
