Start your cross-country skiing or snowshoeing adventure minutes from downtown Ketchum, Idaho. Located just one mile east of Sun Valley Lodge, The Sun Valley Nordic Center is the starting point for over 40 KM of groomed trails for cross country, skate skiing or snowshoeing. The Sun Valley Nordic Center provides rentals for all abilities, lessons, and training programs. Want to take a clinic? That can be arranged! Prefer private instruction? This can happen! What about access to trails, open space, and fresh air outside of Sun Valley? The Blaine County Recreation District – known by locals as the BCRD, offers over 160 KM of groomed trails throughout the Wood River Valley. A BCRD Nordic Pass includes access to North Valley Trails, Croy Nordic and Alturas Lake systems, as well as the free 30km Wood River Trail. Buy your pass here.
