As the days get shorter and the snow begins to fall, Sun Valley’s origins begin to shine. The Sun Valley Ski Resort was the first destination ski resort to be developed in the U.S. The skier’s paradise boasts 3,400 vertical feet and access to over 2,000 acres of groomed and varied terrain.

The Sun Valley Center for the Arts is one of the premier non-profit arts organizations in the region and continually works to bring an impressive lineup of events, art showcases and performances in Sun Valley and Ketchum.
Explore the Area
Any visitor to Sun Valley should explore and discover some of the hidden gems that the area is home to. Spend a day at the scenic Redfish Lake or hike during the Fall to see the beautiful colors of the changing leaves. The Sun Valley gondola is open in the Summertime as well! Ride up the high tech, beautiful Gondola which spans Baldy all the way to the historic Roundhouse. View the amazing scenery of Sun Valley suspended high in the air. You can take it back down, or hike down after a delicious meal at the Roundhouse.
